3D Textiles

The aim of this project was to give 3D forms to a flat fabrics by recreating the textures of forest foliage. Narrowing my theme to lady bugs, i worked primarily with the techniques of woven embroidery to create my form. This Piece was worked on Organza with soldering wire to create the basic frame work of the bugs.
